EEG Technician/Medical Assistant

DUTIES:

Prepare patients for EEG examination, operate EEG machine during tests, ensure patient safety at all times, process data and results, clean and maintain machine between tests. Willing to train in office. Assist with procedures, vital signs, cleaning and stocking rooms, conduct intake with patient, charting in EHR system, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out and various other duties as required. Pay will be based on experience. Myst be a certified Medical Assistant.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Will be willing to train certified medical assistants in the EEG procedures. Voluntary certification offered by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET). Certified Medical Assistant.
