POSITION: Para-Educator, Special Education - 1.0 FTE

Weston Intermediate School

Job Goal: To work with individual students or small groups to help students achieve skill levels set in their IEPs and to support students in gaining maximum benefit from the districts special education program

Qualifications:

• High school diploma & two years of post-secondary education
• Experience working with children; prior experience as a para-educator preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable of establishing positive and productive working relationships with teachers and students

POSITION AVAILABILITY: August 25, 2026

TERMS: Per the contract between the Weston Board of Education and Local 1303-110 of Council 4 AFSCME
