Job Description Granby Public Schools invites interested candidates to apply for Tier 3 Teaching Assistant - Special Education atWells Road Intermediate School.The Tier 3 Teaching Assistant under the direction of a certified specialeducation staff member assistsin the implementationof specialized instruction and provides supports as specifiedin the IndividualizedEducation Programs. These include but are not limited to the followingAssisting with academic organizational socialemotionalbehavioral communicationand transitionneeds as well as daily living in accordancewith IEPs.Providing specialised instruction and supports that may include unique skills and training in DiscreteTrialTeaching behavior plan implementation de-escalation techniques psychological and physicalmanagement health caremedical needs feeding ambulation etc.Ongoing and frequentdata collection and tabulation as specified in the IEPSupporting preparationof specialized learning materials as directed by appropriate special education staffEngaging in regular consultationwith special education team members to implement goalsobjectives accommodation modificationsetc.Rate of pay is 24.11hr.
