ResponsibilitiesThis position provides case management supports that link participants to vocational and career options.The position also supports educational linkages, and in-program education of participants by developing and implementing curricula, providing in-program classroom-like instructions for youth as needed.Engages in academic, recreational and physical education activities with youth.Provides mentorship to youth and supports linkage to GED, and vocational programs.Monitors and supervises program participants and ensures a safe and secure environment both on site and during off-site activities.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related field.Two (2) years teaching experience or related teaching experience, such as tutoring, mentoring, coaching, classroom facilitation, etc.Experience teaching preferred. Expertise in a particular subject area is strongly preferred required.A valid driver's license required.Must successfully pass a background check.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Fluency in a second language may be required.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.#J-18808-Ljbffr
