Make It Possible.The Education and Training Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of the learning function within a bakery or food manufacturing facility. This role is purpose-built for individuals who have walked the production floor, understand the realities of shift-based operations, and are energized by developing people rather than simply processing paperwork. The ideal candidate brings firsthand manufacturing or food production experience, a strong instructional instinct, and the drive to build training capability across all levels of the organization.How you will contributeTraining Delivery and FacilitationDesign, coordinate, and personally track onboarding and new hire orientation programs specific to the operationsManage hands‑on, floor‑based training for production associates, equipment operators, line leads and supervisory staffAdapt delivery methods to the learner population, including visual aids, demonstrations, and job aids for multi‑lingual or low‑literacy environmentsManage refresher and recertification training aligned to regulatory and customer audit cyclesCurriculum and Content DevelopmentWork with SMEs to continuously update training materials, SOPs, work instructions and competency checklists grounded in actual operational practiceDevelop and maintain a competency map for each role in the production environment from entry‑level associates through line leadershipCompliance and Regulatory TrainingEnsure training records are complete, current, and audit‑ready for applicable regulatory bodiesTrack certification expiration dates and proactively schedule required re‑training before lapses occurSupport internal and third‑party audits by providing training records, curriculum documentation, and on‑site participation as neededCapability Building and Workforce DevelopmentIdentify skill gaps through performance data, and supervisor input; translate findings into targeted development interventionsImplement structured on‑the‑job training (OJT) frameworks that enable supervisors to become effective daily coachesMeasure the effectiveness of training through knowledge assessments, observation checklists and post‑training performance indicatorsTraining Administration and Systems ManagementGenerate regular training completion reports for operations, HR, and plant leadershipCoordinate training scheduling across multiple shifts to maximize participation without disrupting production targetsManage training materials inventory including physical resources used in demonstrations, and digital content librariesCulture and EngagementChampion a continuous learning culture by making training visible, relevant, and respected on the production floorServe as a credible, approachable resource for associates and supervisors seeking performance supportRecognize and celebrate training milestones, skill certifications, and associate development achievementsModel professional conduct and safety‑first behavior in all floor interactionsWhat you will bringBachelor's degree with 2 to 4+ years of hands‑on experience in a unionized training environmentDemonstrated track record of formally or informally training others in a production settingProven ability to deliver training to diverse adult learner populations including hourly associates, line operators, and frontline supervisorsComfortable on the production floor and in the classroom; does not require a polished conference room setting to be effectiveSkill in breaking down complex processes into clear, step‑by‑step instructional contentFamiliarity with adult learning principles and competency‑based training approachesInternally driven to improve performance outcomes, not simply meet compliance checkboxesProactively identifies training needs through observation, data, and relationship‑building rather than waiting for formal requestsTakes initiative to build systems and infrastructure where none exist, including from scratchComfortable working across functional boundaries to get the right people into the right development experiencesSalary and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on factors such as experience, skills, education and location.This role is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
