JOB SUMMARY
This position is dedicated to improving student achievement and graduation rates by developing personalized achievement plans for at-risk students. This role involves identifying potential dropouts in collaboration with feeder schools, analyzing comprehensive student data, and crafting targeted instructional plans. The specialist acts as a liaison with support services, collaborates with counselors and teachers on effective intervention strategies, and supports professional development for educators. Effective communication with students, parents, teachers, and stakeholders is essential. Additionally, the specialist participates in relevant programs, meetings, and educational conferences to enhance student success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in education/Master's degree preferred. Candidates must be certified in, or eligible for certification in education. School based experience is required. Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training that provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Salary/Terms/Benefits:
195 day work year.
Salary based on certification and experience; placement on the Adopted Salary Schedule and position supplement(s).
