The special educator may also provide instruction using standards based curriculum. Special education teachers help to develop. implement and monitor an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each special education student.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE: EDUCATION SPECIALIST- ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY (Mild/Moderate) QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Must possess a valid Special Education Specialist Instruction Credential OR meet eligibility requirements for Intern Program. 2.Appropriate documentation authorizing instruction to English learners. 3.Two to three years successful classroom teaching experience is desirable. 4. Experience working with children with Autism and are knowledgeable about EBA (Evidence Based Programs)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: A complete application packet must include the following: 1. Employment application 2. Letter of Introduction 3. Resume 4. Three current letters of reference are required. This must include two letters from a current or former supervisor and one letter from a colleague, coworker, or personal reference. 5. Copies of ALL transcript(s) and or Credential (undergraduate and postgraduate) 6. Credential or Certificate of Eligibility letter issued by your current credential program
