About the Employer

F.J. White Learning Center serves our students in grades TK-2. Castle Rock Elementary School serves our students in grades 3-5. Woodlake Valley Middle School serves our students in grades 6-8. Woodlake High School serves grades 9-12 students, and the Three Rivers and Seville students join the district. Bravo Lake also serves students in grades 9-12 who need an alternative setting. Woodlake Community Day School serves students in grades 7-12.

FRANCIS J. WHITE LEARNING CENTER: Grades TK-2 Brief Job Summary: The job of "Teacher - Special Education" is done for the purpose/s of facilitating Special Education student success in academics, interpersonal skills and activities of daily living through implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing specific needs of student; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Ability to employ a variety of teaching methodologies including direct/differentiated instruction to meet varying skill levels and academic needs; •Knowledge of SEIS system; •CPI trained or willingness to be trained; •Ability to collaborate with staff; •Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Copy of Transcript (Copy of Official Transcripts including post grad units)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters of Recommendation)
  • Resume
  • Test Results/Materials (Test Scores (CBEST, CSET, RICA))
  • Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate (Education Preferred: Autism Spectrum Disorder added Authorization)
