Job Summary
The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) - Division of Exceptional Students is recruiting for (3) experienced Results Driven Accountability Program Specialists. Under general supervision, this position will provide general supervision and monitoring support for local districts to ensure policy compliance and procedures/practices that comply with federal regulations and state rules. This position will provide leadership and coordination in the development and administration of statewide special education programs and mandates such cross functional monitoring and disproportionality. Duties include but not limited to:
Job Duties
Proficiency in conducting and participating in online meetings on a daily basis is required. This is a field-based position.

Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess the following:
Statewide travel, including overnight stays, is required.

High school diploma/GED and seven (7) years of program management experience; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Education Prgm Spec 3 (EDP032) or position equivalent.
