JOB SUMMARY
The Education Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and coordination
of the initial orientation and all on-going education and competency programs to meet
requirements of federal, state and accrediting bodies. Responsibilities also include coordination
and placement of nursing students and intern/observation clinical experiences at the VNA.

QUALIFICATIONS
(MINIMUM)
EDUCATION:
Registered Professional Nurse with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania required.
BSN preferred or working toward attaining within 5 years / OR 4-5 years of healthcare education experience
BLS Certification required.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years Community Health or Home Health experience or 1 year in Education.
