Job Summary:
he Educational Coordinator (BCBA) is responsible for fostering an inclusive, structured, and supportive educational environment that promotes students' intellectual, emotional, and social development. This role involves designing and implementing individualized teaching and behavioral programs for children and adolescents (ages 3-21) with complex emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs.

The Educational Coordinator collaborates with special education staff and educational administrators to ensure curriculum implementation and adherence to regulatory standards. This position requires the ability to implement highly technical clinical and instructional strategies while maintaining constant awareness and responsiveness to student needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary clinician for an assigned caseload of students.
  • Conduct intake and annual assessments, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including:
    • Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
    • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
    • Preference Assessments
    • Other required documentation
  • Recommend and implement evidence-based, least restrictive behavioral interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
  • Facilitate weekly classroom meetings and maintain training documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data collection aligned with behavioral and instructional goals.
  • Provide daily in-classroom support according to student and program needs.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Additional Duties:
  • Support staff training and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with educational and clinical standards and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education or Special Education.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Severe Special Education certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a special education setting.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
