Education Administrator 2 located in Seward!

This position is in the Supervisory Unit (SS) at a Range 22.
What You Will Be Doing:
The Education Administrator provides leadership and oversight for all training programs at AVTEC, ensuring high-quality instruction, compliance with Council on Occupational Education (COE) standards, federal educational stakeholders and strong alignment with Alaska workforce needs. This position supervises academic Department Heads, ensures consistency and quality across programs, oversees curriculum and assessment processes, manages academic documentation, supports accreditation compliance, and works closely with faculty and industry partners to maintain AVTECs status as a premier postsecondary career and technical training center.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelors degree;
AND either
OR
Appropriate graduate work may be substituted for a maximum of two years of non-specialized experience in No.2.
A masters degree in Administration and/or Education is preferred.
