Position Requirements This position requires an Active TS Clearance and to work onsite 5 days a week in Washington DC.
Responsibilities The eDiscovery Technical Advisor (ETA) provides professional eDiscovery/Litigation Technical services designed to promote a consistent, repeatable, and legally defensible process for identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing Electronically Stored Information (ESI) in response to discovery requests.
ETAs serve as expert technical users of electronic discovery applications to support attorneys and paralegal specialists who are responsible for responding to requests related to civil and criminal matters, congressional inquiries, FOIA requests, and other inquiries.
The ETA will manage case matters within an electronic discovery review and analysis platform, including but not limited to:
The ETA coordinates collection results with client stakeholders responsible for processing discovery for review, redaction, and release. Adhere to policies and technical procedures and provide agency attorneys, paralegals, and other users of the electronic discovery review platform with training and other technical assistance.
The ETA coordinates with the Discovery IT support team on emerging technologies, development of methods to ingest Discovery data in new technologies, and recommend process improvement such as leveraging Robotic Process Automation to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
