QUALIFICATIONS

HEALTHCARE EDI ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes
  • Experience enrolling claims, ERA, and EFT services
  • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle or payer enrollment workflows
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Waystar clearinghouse platform
  • Experience setting up and managing workgroups within Waystar
  • Experience monitoring enrollment workflows and resolving clearinghouse issues
  • Familiarity with Availity or similar EDI platforms
  • Experience working claim rejections, denials, and payer follow-up activities
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims submission and remittance processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

HEALTHCARE EDI ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete EDI, ERA, and EFT enrollment registrations accurately and within required timelines
  • Generate, track, and monitor EDI agreements to ensure successful implementation
  • Investigate and resolve enrollment denials, errors, and payer correspondence
  • Maintain detailed and accurate enrollment documentation throughout the process
  • Support clearinghouse-related service requests, including user setup, permissions, and workgroup management
  • Assist with claim enrollment activities and remittance setup processes
  • Monitor enrollment workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Follow departmental workflows, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Payrate: $23/hr

HEALTHCARE EDI ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Healthcare EDI Enrollment Specialist will support healthcare revenue cycle operations. This role focuses on managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA), and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) enrollment processes while ensuring accurate documentation, timely implementation, and resolution of enrollment-related issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with healthcare revenue cycle experience who are familiar with payer enrollments, claims processing workflows, and clearinghouse platforms.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
