Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an EDI Developer/Architect for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting B2Bi and EDI solutions across web and mainframe applications while ensuring seamless system integration and performance optimization.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
EDI Developer/Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Design and implement B2Bi and EDI solutions, ensuring seamless integration across web and mainframe applications.
Develop and maintain EDI mappings (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and support trading partner onboarding.
Monitor and optimize system performance across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
Troubleshoot integration issues, perform diagnostics, and ensure high availability of enterprise systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure and business units, to support end-to-end solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration workflows.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6-10 years of experience in EDI, B2Bi integration, or enterprise application integration roles.
Strong expertise in EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), mapping tools, and integration technologies with hands-on experience in UNIX/Linux environments.
Proven experience in system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and working with architecture diagrams, network protocols, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
