NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a retail organization to identify an eCommerce Sales Specialist in Austin, TX. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a full-time position and is fully onsite, supporting online merchandising, product listings, and order fulfillment across multiple eCommerce platforms.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys online marketplaces, has an eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment where they can balance customer service, merchandising, and daily operations.
Required:
• 1–2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment
• Experience selling or managing products through online marketplaces or eCommerce platforms
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop for basic photo editing and image enhancement
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate listings
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Preferred:
• Experience creating product listings and monitoring pricing across online marketplaces
• Knowledge of shipping, order processing, and inventory management
• Familiarity with eCommerce merchandising or digital retail operations
• Experience working with jewelry, electronics, or other high-value consumer products
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team
