Echocardiograph Technician (Echo Tech)

Location: Rockwall, TX 75032
Duration: 15 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiograph Technician (Echo Tech) to support a busy outpatient cardiology and vascular clinic. The ideal candidate will be proficient in echocardiography, stress echo, and vascular ultrasound studies while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care in a clinical setting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of clinic experience within the last 3 years required.

  • Current RDCS or RCS certification required.

  • Experience performing echocardiography studies.

  • Experience with stress echocardiography preferred.

  • Experience with vascular imaging studies including carotid, arterial, venous, ABI, and abdominal aorta examinations preferred.

  • Strong diagnostic imaging and documentation skills.

  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

  • Comfortable floating between clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms according to physician orders and clinical protocols.

  • Conduct stress echocardiography studies as required.

  • Assist with vascular imaging procedures, including carotid ultrasound, lower arterial studies, lower venous studies, ABI testing, and abdominal aorta imaging.

  • Ensure accurate patient documentation and reporting.

  • Maintain imaging equipment and follow quality assurance standards.

  • Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff.

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.

  • Support coverage across multiple clinic locations as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
