Are you a skilled Echo Technician passionate about advancing cardiovascular health? In this role, youll perform essential echocardiographic imaging services that directly impact patient outcomes, working alongside a supportive team committed to excellence and ongoing learning.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in cardiac ultrasound procedures.
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or must be eligible.
- Current CPR-BLS certification.
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Associates Degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Experience with 2-D and 3-D echocardiograms.
- Familiarity with Transesophageal Echocardiography, exercise, and pharmacologic stress tests.
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- An associates degree or higher in a relevant health discipline.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical echocardiography setting.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work day shifts starting as early as 7 am, including rotating holiday and weekend coverage.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and quality enhancement programs.
- Ability to travel for occasional reimbursements related to licensure, certification, or other job-related needs.
