Responsible for overall marketing management including marketing planning and strategy, product development, advertising and support of sales functions. Supervises/manages social media vendor, advertising agency and major sponsorships.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Manages strategic marketing planning including development and implementation of the annual marketing plan and budget.
2. Assists selection and management of outside agencies to support marketing and communications programs and initiatives.
3. Directs and executes the social media marketing strategy.
4. Oversees print production and customer communications.
5. Serves as member of Pinnacle Bancorp Marketing Committee and Compliance Committee.
6. Researches and develops products and services (along with appropriate bank personnel).
7. Provides marketing support to the bank staff responsible for selling bank products.
8. Develops and maintains the necessary sales, marketing and educational tools to support the bank's line functions in order for them to fulfill all sales goals and mission statement including product promotions development and executions.
9. Manages all public relations efforts including image development, contributions, and media relations.
10. Communicates with all bank departments as it relates to marketing and ad campaigns.
11. Manages all internal marketing efforts and works directly with branch contacts for special offerings, local advertising and event planning.
12. Regular and reliable attendance.
13. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
- Knowledge of retail functions.
- Skill in excellent communication in order to effectively convey information to others.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines with multiple projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Four-year college degree in marketing or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ad agency experience preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in marketing position and managing a team is preferred.
