Earthwork Construction Estimator - Opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Estimate the cost of construction projects, specializing in septic systems, residential, and ground-up foundations.
• Leave no stone unturned when it comes to attention to detail, ensuring accurate and comprehensive project assessments.
• Collaborate with homeowners, home builders, and engineers to understand project requirements and goals.
• Prepare detailed and competitive bids, showcasing your expertise in construction estimating.
• Work closely with material suppliers and excavating professionals to gather accurate pricing information.
• Analyze project plans and blueprints to determine accurate quantities of materials and labor required.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ensuring our estimates align with current market rates.
• Provide support to project managers and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction estimating.
• Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills, enabling you to accurately assess project costs.
• Strong knowledge of home building processes, including excavation/utility work and structural reinforcement.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to effectively collaborate with customers, engineers, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in using construction estimation software and tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring no aspect of a project is overlooked.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• A passion for delivering outstanding results and exceeding customer expectations.
