This Early Head Start Teacher provides a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers, planning developmentally appropriate activities to support school readiness.
- Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe classroom; responding to emergencies; collaborating with families; tailoring activities to individual needs; providing for physical needs; and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Conducts parent conferences, home visits, assessments, and documentation to monitor progress and ensure compliance with Head Start standards.
- Qualifications include a CDA or equivalent credential, experience with infants/toddlers preferred, knowledge of early childhood development, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Requires physical ability to supervise children, reliable transportation, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to continuous learning within a team-based environment. Salary ranges from $23.70 to $29.81.
