Floating Resident Care Assistant (RCA)

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Float Resident Care Assistant to join our facilities located in Onalaska, Holmen, and La Crosse! Our Caregivers enrich the lives of our residents by assisting them with personal cares related to physical, emotional and spiritual needs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing social activities while helping them maintain as much independence and dignity as possible.

We are looking for individuals to join our team of dedicated and hardworking caregivers serving the many residents of our retirement and life communities. In this role, you will assist residents in Assisted Living, Memory Care, High Acuity Assisted Living, and occasionally in Independent Living.

What Youll Do

  • Responsible for filling shifts in one or more locations, at times on short notice being placed in another facility for that shift.
  • Assist with filling in for vacations, leaves, vacancies, and/or call-ins
  • Willing to learn and assist in our communities throughout the La Crosse, Holmen, and Onalaska area.
  • Provide dressing, bathing and bathroom assistance
  • Transport residents to meals and activities, documentation of daily care, and a variety of other tasks.
  • Communicate and interact with residents, their families, and other departments to create an environment that focuses on resident safety and well-being.

What Youll Need

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience working in assisted living, long-term care and/or community health is preferred

Our Wages

  • Our starting rates are between $18.00 and $22.00+ per hour, based on your experience and qualifications. Increases upon orientation completion. And regular wage reviews we pay for high performance!
  • Resident Care staff are eligible for a $3.00/hour Night Shift differential and $2.00/hour Weekend Differential;
  • Varying PM differentials are also available in some care units

Qualifications for Higher Wages

  • Previous direct care experience, preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant training and/or experience
  • CBRF Certification(s)
