About the roleWe are looking for an experienced E&C Engineer III to support mechanical and electrical engineering efforts for natural gas and thermal generation projects. You will play an important part in power plant design, construction support, and engineering oversight, working with teams to deliver high-quality energy infrastructure projects.This is an onsite position based in Minneapolis, MN, with collaboration across engineering, project, and construction teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and engineering of thermal and natural gas power generation facilities, including combustion turbine plantsProvide engineering oversight during project execution, ensuring designs meet project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory complianceCollaborate with project engineers, senior engineers, project managers, and construction managers throughout the project lifecycleReview and validate technical drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverablesHelp with construction support activities, including site visits, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issuesMaintain accurate documentation and contribute to process and design improvementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program8-10 years of experience in power generation, within power plant design, construction, owner/operator environments, or EPC firms5+ years of experience with combustion turbine plants and thermal generation systemsComfortable working in construction environments and working with field teamsProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not requiredExperience with instrumentation and controls is a plus (especially for electrical-focused candidates)BenefitsComprehensive Health and Income Protection Benefits401(k) Savings PlanPaid Vacations for Qualifying PositionsWECTEC Staffing Services offers competitive pay for this position, with an estimated hourly range of $98.00 to $103.00, depending on experience, qualifications and skills.Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
