Client Overview: Our client is a well-established law firm seeking an experienced
E-Billing Specialist to support its billing team by reducing a backlog of electronic invoices and ensuring timely, accurate client billing.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $38/hr - $42/hr
Position Overview: The E-Billing Specialist will assist with clearing a backlog of electronic billing by reviewing, correcting, and submitting invoices through client eBilling platforms. This role requires experience with legal billing systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities of the E-Billing Specialist:- Process and submit a backlog of electronic invoices through client eBilling portals.
- Resolve invoice rejections, reductions, and billing discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and vendor portal requirements.
- Collaborate with attorneys and billing staff to obtain corrections and approvals.
- Monitor invoice status and follow through to successful submission.
Required Experience/Skills for the E-Billing Specialist:- 2+ years of legal eBilling or legal billing experience.
- Experience with eBilling platforms such as Aderant, BillBlast, Elite, or similar systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the E-Billing Specialist:- Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of client billing guidelines and electronic invoice compliance.
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve billing issues with minimal supervision.
Education Requirements:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
