Dump Truck DriverResponsible for operating heavy haul trucks to transport minerals, ore, waste material, and overburden safely and efficiently throughout the mining site. Plays a key role in maintaining production flow while following all safety regulations. Responsibilities- Operate dump trucks to move materials between loading, dumping, and processing areas.
- Follow designated haul routes and site traffic patterns
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
- Monitor load weight and ensure safe hauling practices
- Communicate with loaders, dispatch, and supervisors for coordination
- Report mechanical issues, hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
- Comply with all MSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain clean and organized equipment
Requirements- Experience operating dump trucks preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with mining operations and safety standards
- Ability to work long shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including a background check
- Must be able to pass MSHA requirements
