About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We support fund managers, investors, operators, and finance professionals across private markets by integrating deal flow, analyst talent, investor relations, training, and job placement into a single verified platform.

Our mission is to create real opportunity, credibility, and earning power for serious private capital professionals. Certified analysts do not wait months for placement—once verified, they gain immediate access to live deals and paid diligence work across our network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Due Diligence Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification, assessment, and verification process.

Once approved, Due Diligence Analysts:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to live transactions requiring diligence support

  • Work directly with investors, fund managers, and operators

  • Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score

  • Earn income through hourly diligence projects and deal-based work

Certification Tiers:

  • Senior Due Diligence Analyst

  • Lead Due Diligence Analyst

  • Due Diligence Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges

Senior Due Diligence Analyst

  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–$200/hour

  • Typical Background:
5+ years in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, consulting, or corporate development with extensive diligence leadership experience

Lead Due Diligence Analyst

  • Rating Score: 80–89

  • Pay: $100–$150/hour

  • Typical Background:
3–5 years of experience supporting financial, operational, or commercial diligence on live transactions

Due Diligence Analyst / Associate

  • Rating Score: 60–79

  • Pay: $50–$100/hour

  • Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical, financial, and research capabilities

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Due Diligence Analysts are engaged strictly within their approved diligence categories. Responsibilities may include:

Financial & Earnings Diligence

  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

  • Revenue and margin sustainability assessment

  • Normalization of EBITDA and working capital

  • Cash flow and financial risk analysis

Commercial & Market Diligence

  • Market sizing and growth analysis

  • Competitive landscape assessment

  • Customer concentration and churn analysis

  • Pricing, demand, and go-to-market risk evaluation

Operational & Business Diligence

  • Cost structure and operational efficiency review

  • Vendor, supply chain, and dependency risk assessment

  • Scalability and execution risk analysis

Investment & Transaction Support

  • Diligence workstream execution and reporting

  • Red flag identification and risk summaries

  • Investment memo and IC presentation support

  • Data room review and diligence Q&A support

Note: Analysts may only perform work in diligence categories they are explicitly approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment performance and ongoing quality—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning

  1. Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive Due Diligence–specific approvals

  3. Become verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly diligence projects and live deal engagements

No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score 70% in a diligence-related category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Diligence Training

  • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Due Diligence Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Platform visibility

  • Approved diligence categories

  • Recommended hourly rates

  • Eligibility for higher-value transactions

Compensation & Deal Terms

  • Analysts operate as independent contractors

  • Hourly rates vary by Rating Score and approval level

  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Due Diligence Analysts do not:

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and transaction support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.

Why Join Initio Sphere

  • Immediate earning potential once verified

  • Platform-driven credibility and promotion

  • Long-term upside through deal exposure and network growth

  • A single ecosystem for diligence professionals to build income, reputation, and deal experience
