Position Responsibilities

Operates the insulation machine to perform the assembly of the product (Flexible Duct)

 

Position Responsibilities
  • Follow the production schedule given by the crew chief.
  • Inspect the line to verify the raw materials are the correct ones (insulation, core and jacket).
  • Bring appropriate labels and spec sheets.
  • Make the necessary changes of Mandrel and glass guide.
  • Adjust the label gun to the date code corresponding to the date.
  • Load the core tray with core and foil jackets, place them on the machine, the load the insulation into the glass unwind machine.
  • Put the jackets on the Mandrel and start winding jacket machine.
  • Operate the Duct Machine.
  • Roll the product to the bagger.
  • Maintain area and keep clean at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Works under direct supervision and follows written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Resolves routine questions and problems, refers complex issues to others.
  • Demonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly.

Physical Requirements / Working Environment
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to work with and around fiberglass/insulation

Knowledge and Skills

·        Ability to read, write and communicate with the crew chief and supervisor in English
  •   Must have basic Math Skills

·        Must have quick hands.
