Role description

Job Title: Senior Specialist - Package Implementation

Role Summary:

  • Duck Creek Onshore Developer Lead with 10 years of experience will provide technical leadership for Duck Creek application development and enhancements including design development and performance optimization
  • Provide oversight to the SI partner Dev and QA teams
  • Ensure high quality on time deliverables meeting client's expectations
  • The role is responsible for leading and reviewing offshore Duck Creek development activities to ensure quality scalability and adherence to standards
  • Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving performance bottlenecks refactoring existing code and implementing new Duck Creek features
  • The role requires strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek NET development SQL databases APIs and Git with prior experience supporting Client's Duck Creek implementations
  • Preferred Exposure to MuleSoft and OpenShift is desirable

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Duck Creek Policy CL Experience C Angular Net Core CSS JavaScript Express 20
  • Strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek development Policy Billing Claims or Digital components
  • Current or prior experience working on Duck Creek implementations at Progressive Insurance is strongly preferred
  • Solid experience in NET development including C custom extensions and Duck Creek Author Express
  • Strong proficiency in SQL databases writing and optimizing complex queries and stored procedures
  • Experience with API development and testing including REST services and Postman based validation
  • Excellent working knowledge of Git for source control and collaborative development
  • Proven experience leading offshore teams conducting code reviews and ensuring delivery quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and performance challenges

Nice to have Skills:

  • Experience with system integrations and middle ware-based orchestration
  • Exposure to containerization and platform deployment using OpenShift
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum delivery models within largescale insurance programs
