Are you a highly motivated Certified Nursing Assistant/NAC (also called Attendant Counselor 1) interested in working with adults with intellectual disabilities? We have immediate career opportunities on all three shifts for Certified Nursing Assistants (also known as Nursing Assistant Certified) at the Lakeland Village Residential Habilitation Center Nursing Facility. You'll work with residents in a homelike environment alongside peers who are driven by these same goals.

Not a CNA/NAC? We will train you! If you have a passion to work in the healthcare field and support individuals with disabilities, we offer a no-cost Nursing Assistant Certification Program for full-time employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, self-help and therapeutic activities, recreation, and social skills
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to male and female residents
  • Take vital signs and report data
  • Assist in meal preparations, adhere to diet orders by differentiating food and liquid textures/consistencies, and assist in feeding residents
  • Document any observed changes in resident behavior, physical status, and possible medical or psychological conditions
  • Reposition and transfer residents using state of the art equipment and a team approach

Who Should Apply:

  • Motivated applicants with a High School Diploma/GED OR One year of experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) from the State of Washington OR the interest and ability to attend our onsite NAC training and pass the Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification Exam

Additional Information:

  • Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
  • The successful hire will be offered a starting salary within the range of $21.06-$28.06 hourly.

How to Apply:

To provide care in the Nursing Facility at Lakeland Village, employees must have status as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Washington within 120 days of hire. I am currently a Certified Nursing Assistant (please provide your NAC number and expiration date). I have completed or enrolled in an approved nursing assistant program by the Washington State Department of Health Nursing Commission AND can obtain NAC certification within 120 days of hire. I want to obtain the approved education and training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. None of the above.
