Description: Position Description:

  • Provides technical and maintenance troubleshooting and repair for the Abrams' Family of Vehicles' (FOV) Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Shop Repairable Units (SRUs);
  • Capable of providing informal instruction to the team and the customer;
  • Develops and provides written technical reports as required;
  • Document and track jobs and potential cost avoidance data generated from repairs;
  • Interfaces with KLF Army units (customer) and other GDLS Employees at a deployed location;
  • Conducts daily operational interface with DSESTS Team Members from other defense contracting companies.
  • Reports to the GDLS Supervisor at the assigned location.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have background or recent experience with Direct Support Electrical Test Sets (DSESTS)
  • Be able to pass a DSESTS certification training program;
  • Able to work with minimal supervision;
  • Be able to work autonomously with government personnel;
  • Must be able to meet and maintain all deployment requirements, to include a Passport;
  • Excellent communication skills along with professional demeanor that extends to all levels of the organization to include our customers and management;
  • Able to gain access to military installations and potential travel throughout the MENA region;
  • Willing to work effectively in a team-oriented structure to include field, office, and shop environments both on and off military installations;
  • Capable of obtaining a security clearance, if necessary;
  • Required to work at various heights, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, able to climb, able to work in enclosed spaces, often in awkward positions, extreme temperatures, and other adverse weather conditions;
  • Must be a US Person
