The Patch Boys of Kansas City is seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Repair Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on residential drywall repair, installation, and finishing, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.
Our technicians work directly in customers’ homes, so professionalism, cleanliness, and strong communication are essential.
Responsibilities
Hang, install, patch, repair, and finish drywall
Match and apply various textures seamlessly
Perform painting and finishing work after repairs
Maintain a clean and professional job site
Communicate clearly with homeowners and ensure satisfaction
Transport tools and materials to job sites
Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of drywall experience (hanging, patching, finishing, and repair)
Ability to match textures and complete paint finishing
Own hand tools, power tools, and drywall equipment
Reliable truck or van capable of transporting materials
Clean driving record
Comfortable with background check and drug screening
Availability Monday through Friday (some Saturdays optional)
Strong professionalism, appearance, and cleanliness
