Drone Operations Specialist

We’re looking for a Drone Operations Specialist to join our team and play a key role in capturing and delivering aerial data that keeps our projects moving. If you enjoy working outdoors, love technology, and want a career that blends hands-on work with computer skills, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll be flying drones to collect images and data, then turning that information into reports that help guide important decisions. Some days you’ll be out in the field piloting drones, other days you’ll be at your computer processing data and sharing results with the team. No two projects are exactly alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Pilot drones to safely capture aerial photos, videos, and data.

  • Turn raw drone data into clear, useful information for project teams.

  • Plan flight paths using mapping apps.

  • Keep equipment in top condition and ready to fly.

  • Share collected data securely with the right teams.

  • Use other inspection tools like scanners and cameras when needed.

  • Stay up to date with drone regulations and safety standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in drones, engineering, GIS, robotics, or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of experience flying drones for work.

  • FAA Part 107 Certification (required).

  • Tech-savvy with a knack for troubleshooting.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and good at problem-solving.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
