Upper Lakes Foods, Inc. is the largest independent, wholesale food distributor in Minnesota. The company has three facilities located in Cloquet, MN, Northfield, MN and Janesville, WI. We distribute food throughout the Upper Midwest. Upper Lakes Foods specializes in serving foodservice operators such as independent restaurants, assisted living facilities, schools, and national and regional foodservice chain accounts with a strong focus on customer service. Simply put, the mission is to build value for each customer, employee, supplier and community we serve by bringing the best; the best products, best people and best ideas.
Your evening starts by getting the routes dispatched and team lined up, then you're in the rhythm: monitor dispatching, answering quick driver questions, and keeping an eye on how the night is unfolding. You'll bounce between your workstation and the warehouse floor-listening for what's working, spotting snags early, and helping the team stay calm and confident when plans change. Between calls and check-ins, you carve out time to review key reports and paperwork, then wrap up by making sure notes, follow-ups, and next steps are ready for the next run. Some days include a quick ride-along or time in the yard to stay connected to what drivers see firsthand.
Schedule is Monday 3PM-3AM; Saturday 6:30AM-3PM; Sunday 3PM-5AM
