Key Responsibilities of a Driver Success Manager:
Driver Recruitment & Growth
Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified driver candidates
Meet hiring and onboarding goals through proactive sourcing and outreach efforts
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective drivers through referrals, networking, and community engagement
Represent the organization at job fairs, recruiting events, and local community functions
Promote driving opportunities and expand awareness within the local market
Onboarding & Driver Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process
Conduct orientations and onboarding sessions for Independent Contractors (ICs)
Guide new drivers through application, onboarding, compliance, and vehicle readiness requirements
Ensure a seamless, welcoming, and positive onboarding experience
Provide ongoing guidance to help drivers start successfully and confidently
Driver Engagement & Retention
Build and maintain strong relationships with active drivers
Provide support and resources that contribute to driver satisfaction and long-term success
Address concerns, identify solutions, and connect drivers with appropriate support teams
Partner with leadership to implement driver engagement and retention initiatives
Promote a positive driver culture through regular communication and relationship-building
Reporting & Operational Support
Maintain accurate records related to recruiting, onboarding, and driver engagement activities
Track key performance indicators, including hiring, onboarding completion, and retention metrics
Prepare reports and provide updates to management
Support workforce planning and additional operational initiatives as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and positive driver experience
Qualifications of a Driver Success Manager:
Experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, customer service, sales, or a related field preferred
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
