Join One Stop Restaurant Supply Corp. as a Driver’s Helper supporting daily delivery operations throughout New York City, Long Island City and the surrounding Metropolitan area.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team player who can assist our drivers with loading, unloading, deliveries, and maintaining efficient operations throughout the day.
This role is physically active, fast-paced, and customer-facing. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, communicates well, and follows procedures consistently. There is opportunity for advancement for the right long-term candidate.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
30–34 hours per week
Start time: 9:00 AM
Compensation:
$20 per hour
Benefits:
401(k), and profit sharing (once eligible)
Core Responsibilities:
• Assist drivers with daily delivery routes
• Load, unload, lift, and transport products throughout the workday
• Deliver products into customer locations professionally and efficiently
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, restaurant staff, vendors, drivers, and management
• Help ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Assist with preparing and organizing hand trucks and delivery loads
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient delivery support throughout the day
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized vehicle
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift and handle products throughout the workday
• Comfortable working throughout New York City and surrounding metro areas
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and staff
• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in all interactions
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to follow company procedures and safety standards at all times
• Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or physical labor experience preferred
• Previous experience using manual pallet jacks and hand trucks preferred
