Position Summary

The Delivery Route Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive parts to customers and company stores along established routes. This position primarily involves driving a company Sprinter van to deliver parts, accessories, and oversized items (such as tires) to store locations. The role also includes possible vendor pickups when needed and providing hands-on warehouse support when not driving.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company Sprinter van to deliver automotive parts, accessories, and oversized items to stores

• Make daily deliveries and occasional vendor pickups as needed

• Load and unload the delivery vehicle, ensuring parts are accurate, complete, and properly secured

• Verify part numbers and quantities against invoices or delivery documents

• Ensure all orders are delivered complete, on time, and in good condition

• Obtain customer signatures or delivery confirmation for each order

• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage logs and delivery receipts

• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns during deliveries

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

• Assist in warehouse operations when not driving, including:

• Pulling and staging parts for orders

• Checking in shipments

• Storing inventory in proper locations

• General housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized warehouse

• Follow all traffic laws, and company safety policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid standard driver's license-clean driving record with no major violations
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Strong time management, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Basic warehouse skills, including order picking, receiving, and inventory organization
• Standing, walking, and driving for extended periods.

Work Environment

• Frequent driving in varying weather conditions
• Combination of warehouse and outdoor delivery work
• Physical activity including lifting, bending, and carrying parts
