Position Summary

Medical Assistants are trusted clinical partners who help providers deliver exceptional patient care through thoughtful chart preparation, medication reconciliation, preventive care review, patient education, and compassionate communication.

Training is provided in preventive care workflows, value-based care, HCC documentation support, and AI-assisted clinical tools.

Monday

8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Lunch (Unpaid)

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Thursday

8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Lunch (Unpaid)

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Friday

8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Clinic schedule may change as the practice grows.

Compensation

Experience

Hourly Rate

Newly Certified MA

$19.00–20.50

1–3 Years Experience

$20.50–22.00

Experienced MA

$22.00–24.00

Quality Excellence Incentive

Eligible Medical Assistants may also participate in our Quality Excellence Incentive Program, recognizing excellence in preventive care workflows, chart preparation, teamwork, and quality improvement.

Current pilot incentive awards range from $200–400 per quarter based on quality performance. 

What You'll Do

Responsibility

Examples

Patient Care

Room patients, obtain vital signs, assist procedures

Chart Preparation

Medication reconciliation, chart review, provider preparation

Preventive Care

Annual Wellness Visits, screenings, immunizations

Quality Improvement

HCC review, STAR measures, Health Maintenance

Communication

Educate patients and coordinate care with the healthcare team

Teamwork

Support physicians, APPs, Medical Assistants, students, and front office staff

Qualifications

Required

  • Medical Assistant Certificate
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Professionalism
  • Reliability

Preferred

  • Primary Care experience
  • Preventive care experience
  • EMR experience
  • Medication reconciliation experience
  • HCC/value-based care experience

Bilingual (Spanish) or American Sign Language (ASL) are strongly encouraged.
