At Nautilus 220, the Doorman / Runner enhances the resident arrival experience through attentive service, delivery coordination, and front-of-house support.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Doorman / Runner serves as a highly visible front-of-house team member responsible for welcoming residents and guests, assisting with arrivals and departures, supporting package and delivery operations, and maintaining a polished and hospitality-driven entrance experience throughout Nautilus 220.
This role combines luxury hospitality service with operational support responsibilities and requires strong communication skills, professionalism, physical stamina, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced luxury residential environment. The Doorman / Runner is expected to anticipate resident needs, assist with operational logistics, and contribute to a seamless and elevated resident experience at all times.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resident & Guest Welcome Experience: Greet residents, guests, vendors, and visitors warmly and professionally while creating a welcoming and polished arrival and departure experience at all property entrances.
- Front Entrance Operations: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of entryways, porte-cochère areas, lobby access points, and front-of-house spaces to ensure they consistently reflect Nautilus 220’s luxury standards.
- Package & Delivery Assistance: Assist with package movement, resident deliveries, luggage handling, grocery assistance, furniture coordination, and operational transport requests throughout the property.
- Runner & Operational Support: Provide operational support across departments by assisting with deliveries, amenity setups, resident requests, operational errands, inventory movement, and daily logistical needs as directed by leadership.
- Resident Assistance & Hospitality: Support residents with doors, carts, directions, loading assistance, transportation coordination, and general hospitality services while maintaining attentive and proactive service standards.
- Visitor & Vendor Coordination: Assist with visitor arrivals, vendor access coordination, delivery traffic management, and communication support while following property procedures and maintaining organized operational flow.
- Amenity & Event Support: Assist with resident events, wellness activations, amenity operations, and property programming by supporting setup, breakdown, furniture movement, and operational logistics.
- Operational Collaboration: Partner closely with concierge, valet, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, receiving, and operations teams to support seamless resident experiences and daily property functionality.
- Safety & Security Awareness: Maintain awareness of property activity, resident safety, operational concerns, and unusual situations while communicating issues promptly to leadership or security personnel as needed.
- Professional Presentation Standards: Maintain a polished appearance, professional demeanor, and hospitality-focused attitude at all times while representing Nautilus 220’s luxury brand standards.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 1+ years of experience in hospitality, luxury residential services, hotel operations, concierge support, valet, or customer service preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with polished professional presentation
- Hospitality-driven mindset with a genuine passion for service
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in fast-paced operational environments
- Strong physical stamina and ability to support physically active operational tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist across departments as operational needs require
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive during high-volume resident activity
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends, holidays, and varied operational shifts
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred given the resident community and operational environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods during the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds including packages, luggage, furniture, carts, and operational materials
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions including heat, humidity, rain, and active operational environments
