• Must love animals and be comfortable caring for dogs and pets of different sizes, breeds, and personalities
• Prior pet sitting, dog walking, animal care, volunteer, rescue, grooming, boarding, kennel, veterinary, or personal pet ownership experience is preferred
• Must be dependable, honest, patient, and professional
• Must have strong communication skills and be able to follow care instructions
• Must be able to safely walk, feed, supervise, and care for pets
• Must have access to a smartphone or computer to manage availability, messages, and booking requests
• Must be willing to complete SitGuru onboarding and any required trust and safety steps
• Provide safe, reliable, and caring pet care services for dogs and other household pets
• Offer services such as dog sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, playtime, potty breaks, and basic pet companionship
• Follow Pet Parent instructions for each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and care needs
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Pet Parents before, during, and after services
• Keep pets safe, comfortable, and supervised during scheduled care
• Maintain accurate availability and respond to booking requests in a timely manner
• Represent SitGuru with professionalism, kindness, and respect
• Provide updates, photos, or notes when appropriate to help Pet Parents feel confident and informed
