FieldBridge is looking for a Houston, TX based Document Controller to work for the world's largest oilfield service company.

Pay /Schedule: $33.50/hr. Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesday, Thursday, and 2nd & 4th Fridays of the month. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller III to lead document control activities for complex and multi-discipline projects. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for project documentation, ensuring all deliverables are organized, accurate, and compliant with contract requirements. This position also includes providing guidance to junior document control staff and interfacing with project managers, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full document control responsibilities including managing large MDLs, coordinating document reviews, and overseeing transmittals and approval workflows
  • Upload documents into the EDMS, perform metadata entry and quality checks, and ensure compliance with naming conventions and revision control procedures
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project documentation between the company, clients, and vendors
  • Prepare project status reports and support audits and quality checks
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior document control staff

Required Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of document control experience including complex or multi-discipline projects
  • Advanced EDMS knowledge required; Content Server experience highly preferred
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Pro
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret contract documentation requirements and implement project-specific procedures
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, or related field preferred
