Preparing the gangway for loading and unloading cargo. li Loading and unloading cargo to and from ships safely and efficiently li Inspecting cargo for any defects or damage li Keeping the dock areas clean and fully functioning. li Maintaining dock machinery.ul br strongYou will need to have the following: :/strong br ul li li Have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and the ability to concentrate on job responsibilities. li Have good organizational and time management skills. li Have a high school diploma or equivalent. li Be continually attentive and mindful of your surroundings to keep yourself and co-workers safe. li Be able to understand and communicate information.
