Seeking a Dock Supervisor to lead and manage dock employees in an LTL trucking environment.
- Report to Operations leadership and oversee daily dock operations, schedules, and safety compliance.
- Set targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development to staff.
- Manage equipment assignments, paperwork accuracy, and communication with customers.
- Ensure KPI goals are met, optimize schedules for efficiency, and enforce company policies.
- Handle hiring, training, and termination processes, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
- Must have management, dispatch, and dock experience, strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, lift 20 lbs., and operate in varied environments is required.
