We are hiring an Outbound Dock Supervisor for our Des Moines, IA service center on night shifts (10pm-8am) with a starting pay of $60,000 annually.
- Oversee daily dock operations, ensuring safe and efficient freight handling, sorting, loading, and unloading.
- Manage dockworkers and shift teams, enforce safety policies, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and regulations.
- Conduct inspections, assign tasks, monitor performance, and promote continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper freight movement using monitoring systems and complete required documentation.
- Partner with management to meet performance goals and lead safety and operational training.
- Qualifications include warehouse or logistics experience, supervisory skills, knowledge of safety regulations, and physical ability to perform job duties.
