Division Structural Group Lead

We are seeking an accomplished leader to join our Kansas/Missouri Division as a Division Structural Group Lead. This pivotal role involves spearheading a dynamic team in delivering exceptional structural engineering services across a range of complex projects. The position is integral to managing and expanding our services in both horizontal and vertical structural design, catering to esteemed public and private clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and grow the structural engineering group, focusing on design, inspection, and rehabilitation service lines.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring optimal staffing, budgeting, and scheduling across multiple locations.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives, enhancing bridge and structural design services within Kansas, Missouri, and beyond.
  • Foster and manage robust relationships with a diverse client base.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and professional engagements.
  • Identify and lead strategic project opportunities.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, nurturing their professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer licensure in Kansas and/or Missouri.
  • Proven experience with KDOT/MoDOT and local agencies.
  • Expertise in project delivery, including design-build and CMGC methods, preferred.
  • Strong communication, business development, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and grow a team.
  • Proficiency in financial management and compliance with project objectives.
  • Experience with Deltek Software/Suite for management reporting.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule from any of our Kansas/Missouri offices, including Kansas City, KS, Topeka, KS, Wichita, KS, Manhattan, KS, Lenexa, KS, or Kansas City, MO.
