Court Name/Organization Texas Western District Court Overview of the Position The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas is currently accepting applications for the position of Division Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of the Clerk's Office in San Antonio, Texas. The Division Manager performs a full range of high-level supervisory responsibilities. The incumbent is administratively and technically responsible for overseeing the work performed by employees in this divisional office. As part of the Clerk's management team, the Division Manager frequently interacts with Federal Judges and chambers staff, the Clerk, Chief Deputy, and administrative and operational management staff. In addition, the Division Manager works with the leadership team to develop short- and long-range improvement plans for the court, including the development, implementation, and refining of office policies, procedures, and programs. This position reports directly to the Chief Deputy and is responsible for oversight of division staff who serve four U.S. District Judges, two Senior U.S. District Judges, and four U.S. Magistrate Judges.
