Our Financial Services Office is currently recruiting for two Division Budget Managers with excellentcommunications skills to manage the development, execution, and oversight of our Management Support Services' and Business and Profession's Division's budgets. As one of the most visible state agencies and the second-largest revenue generator in Washington State, we engage with over 6 million residents each year and collect nearly $3 billion in taxes and fees. Are you ready to take the next step in your career in a strategic role? Your ability to advise agency leaders on implementing budgetary changes based on observed needs, changing priorities, and strategic objectives will be vital to help DOL achieve its purpose.
As a Division Budget Manager, your ability to communicate effectively in plain talk to a diverse audience will be critical to your success as you will provide consultation in navigating budget cycle and operational activities to agency leadership. Building on your comprehensive understanding of the various business operations within assigned divisions is key to providing accurate strategic consultations. As a trusted advisor you will manage and coordinate the budget and fiscal activities of one of our seven divisions. The work you do will improve processes to enhance transparency, ease and usefulness of budget office products, and services.
Management Support Services contains many typical administrative executive offices like Human Resources, Legislative Policy Office, Financial Services Office, and the Director's Office.
Business and Professions Division supports the budget needs for licensing of DOL's regulated professions, the collection of fuel tax, and uniform commercial code filings.
