The District Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in developing new and existing customer accounts, managing project sales, product specifications, and successful product launches while meeting sales and profit goals.
The position reports to the Vice President of Sales and covers territories including Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Northern Idaho, and Northern Nevada, with potential territory changes.
The ideal candidate has experience in professional selling, customer service, brand promotion, and developing distributor and contractor relationships. They should have management and training experience to increase market share.
Qualifications include lighting industry knowledge, proven sales success, cross-functional teamwork, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach. A college degree or equivalent experience, manufacturer representative management experience, and at least 2 years in electrical or lighting fields are required.
