Position Summary:

  • Responsible for the growth and profitability of the insurance agencies in assigned district.
  • Develops sales activities for assigned district.
  • Manages sales teams to initiate sales and marketing programs and meet the goals of the organization.
  • Analyzes district demographics and modifies the sales and marketing plan to respond to the customer needs and market changes.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and develops staff.
  • Develops and initiates action plans to secure new business.

Knowledge and Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent that preferably includes business or insurance courses.
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience with IFBI, at least a segment of that time as an Agent and an Agency Manager. Equivalent previous experience with another company considered
  • Lead and execute sales and marketing programs
  • Required to review and analyze sales performance against programs, quotas, and plans to determine effectiveness
  • Ability to establish successful short and long-term sales strategies
  • Analyze demographics and determines appropriate sales strategy and manpower requirements
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver’s license; CLU; CHfC; CLF; Series 6 / 63 / 26
