District Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced District Manager to lead and oversee the overall performance, profitability, and daily operations of a district serving the industrial and oil & gas sectors. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, leading high-performing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in operations management, financial performance, team development, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily shop and field operations to ensure efficient execution.
- Manage scheduling, workflow, staffing, and work order completion.
- Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements.
- Ensure readiness for audits and customer requirements.
- Maintain operational efficiency while meeting service expectations.
Financial Management
- Drive district revenue, profitability, and overall business performance.
- Manage labor costs, staffing levels, and overtime based on operational needs.
- Ensure work orders are completed, approved, and invoiced in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Establish clear performance expectations and maintain accountability.
- Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure employees receive appropriate training and ongoing development.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Address operational and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support business growth by delivering exceptional service and operational reliability.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Enforce company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with operational, regulatory, and documentation requirements.
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain accountability for company equipment and assets.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Leadership or management experience in industrial services, oil & gas, manufacturing, NDT, or field service operations.
- 5-8 Years in NDT, inspection services, or oil & gas field services.
- Experience managing operations, scheduling, workforce performance, and customer service.
- Strong financial and operational decision-making skills.
- Experience using ERP or operational management systems is preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel as required.
