POSITION: District Level Technician

JOB OBJECTIVE

The District-Level Technician provides tier 1 and tier 2 technical support across all schools and administrative buildings within the district. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing district-owned hardware, software, network infrastructure, and classroom technology. The ideal candidate pairs strong technical problem-solving with excellent communication skills, ensuring minimal disruption to the educational environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Google Workspace & Cloud Administration:

  • Manage and optimize the Google Admin Console to ensure seamless district operations: oversee email safety, spam/phishing protections, and maintain cloud data integrity using district backup and recovery systems.

  • State & District Technical Management:

  • Lead the technical setup, environment configuration, and execution for high-stakes assessment platforms

  • Enterprise Software & Licensing Management:

  • Coordinate the deployment, enterprise distribution, and subscription licensing for specialized software suites.

  • Device Lifecycle & Hardware Support:

  • Oversee the Chromebook repair ecosystem, including hardware diagnostics, parts procurements, and maintenance coordination to ensure student device uptime. Provide director with quotes for replacement units.

  • Cybersecurity Awareness & Training:

  • Administer and monitor district-wide cybersecurity awareness training and phishing simulation platforms to mitigate organizational risk and improve staff security compliance.

  • Classroom Management & Monitoring Support:

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain classroom management and student digital safety platforms to support secure, compliant, and focused digital learning environments.

  • Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate records of software licenses, hardware inventory, and security training compliance to support district audits and technical reporting

  • Performs related duties as required.
